Nothing may be placed on the common grounds including but not limited too planted pots. statues, hanging feeders or plants , solar or other ground lighting . Any unapproved such items will be removed and disposed of after March 30, 2024 with no further notice.
- All hedge material will be trimmed by the association landscaper in a similar manner to a height under windows.
The association may trim anything in their judgement that is not being properly maintained, as well as removing plantings deemed inappropriate.

The community has an active clubhouse with a large heated pool, tennis court, shuffleboard, etc.

STORM GENERATOR
A storm generator has been permanently installed near the clubhouse. This will insure that in case of a storm, or loss of power in the community, the lift station and lake pumping will be able to continue.
ROOF REPLACEMENT
By the end of the year at least 15 buildings will have new roofs installed. This has been accomplished using regular reserves that have been budgeted by your Board of Directors.
POOL MAINTENANCE
Superior Pools who serviced our community pool for many years cut back on their service area due to lack of employees. We have found a new vendor servicing the area.
LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE
Last Monday we were informed by Natures Grounds that they were going out of business, with no prior warning to our Association. They provided lawn service to our community. Last week, within four days your Board and property manager solicited numerous proposals for lawn service, fertilization and ornamental pest control. Your Board had an emergency meeting and the majority voted for Lawnscapes of South Florida to take over the community lawn service. They have been servicing the Lakes of Savannahs and are familiar with what is needed. They will begin immediately; first service will be this week.
INSURANCE PREMIUMS
As many members are aware insurance costs have gone up significantly this year. Again because of good planning the Association was able to absorb the increase this year. We have been advised of anticipated increases for 2022 which will need to be included in the 2022 budget.
INTERNET & CABLE SERVICES
Broadstar Cable is working towards activating the new cable and internet service. They are behind in their original start date. We will post any updates on the Savannahs website.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETINGS
We are hoping to have our first evening meeting in late September. Due to the severe uptick this month in COVID cases in Florida we will monitor the safety of such a meeting.

Broadstar will be at the clubhouse on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 2pm to 6pm and Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 9 am to 1pm for questions and demonstrations on the new cable system.
CHANGES COMING IN 2021 TO YOUR CABLE SERVICE
Over the next 3 months working is being done on the property to install cables for the Associations new cable service which will be operational later this year. Additional information will be mailed to you sometime in February regarding the new service and provider.

TREE TRIMMING
The annual tree trimming has started. The tree company was several weeks behind due to the rainy weather we have been experiencing over the last month.
ROOF REPLACEMENT
The Association is planning to replace up to 8 building roofs by the end of the year as funds allow. Roof histories, regarding leaks over the past several years were utilized to help determine which roofs would be replaced at this time. As funds allow in the roof reserves additional roofs will be addressed next year.
POOL HOURS
The pool monitoring program ended last week. The pool will now be available during regular hours for residents only! Furniture will not be put out at this time.
Anyone using the pool must sign and return the attached waiver (can also be found on Association website www.savannahscondoone.com) to use the pool.
The Board is continuing to follow the CDC guidelines as well as local municipalities and Association council. If more than 10 people are in the pool area at one time the Board will have to consider closing the pool again.
Please be considerate of each other and utilize masks and social distancing.

Hotwire Communication Equipment Returns Reminder
Dear Property Manager,
As part of pledge to provide excellence in service and technology, this a reminder about our changed policy on customer equipment returns. In an effort to provide more flexibility to our customers when they move, we have converted our returns process so that customer can easily return equipment, at no cost, using UPS.
There are three options for returning equipment, as follows:
- Electronic Label – UPS Drop off
- UPS Label delivered via email to the customer.
- Customer prints the label, packages equipment and drops off at UPS location
- Electronic Label – Driver Pickup
- UPS label delivered via email to the customer.
- Customer prints label and packages the equipment.
- UPS driver will arrive the next business day to pick up package from the service
- Customer Warehouse Drop off
- Customer may drop off equipment to one of our warehouse locations listed below. Please be aware that there are not customer facing functions at these office, customer will only be able to leave the equipment.
